Batwing sleeves

And a new one in the animal clothing series!
My mother spared me a huge embarrassment, when she looked at my original drawing and pointed out to me that what I had initially drawn were flared sleeves not batwing sleeves:

Lady Lust

I have a new sketchbook! Usually I get all tense when I draw on the 1st page of a new sketchbook, after all it is the first thing you'll see when you open it, and I want to leave a nice first impression. And so of course I always mess it up! But not this time, yay! This might also be due to the amazing reference I had, that I found at fashion gone rogue. Btw I love crazy high retro hair!

Herringbone

I asked for more animal names in clothing stuff, and got some really cool suggestions. herringbone was one of them, and this is what I came up with. I really love matjes (pickled herring) sandwiches and a nice cool beer!

And, Phew! man, the more complex a piece the more time you spend deleting tangents!

Houndstooth

After doing the pussy bow piece I thought it would be fun to look for more fashion thing that have animal names. Frankly I have no idea why this pattern is called houndstooth, the forms may look a little bit like a dog but where does the tooth come from?
Anyway, I had a lot of fun doing this, especially the little pug - am i weird to think pugs are cute?
