Tavi Gevinson
By now you probably all know fashion blogger Tavi Gevinson. Personally I think she is awesome and I always enjoy reading her blog. She has a unique fashion sense and a great writing style.
I loved her iconic Stephen Jones hat at the Dior Couture show, and thought she looked perfect for the occasion, that and because the little controversy around it, that made it even more iconic, is why I choose it for this portrait.
Oh and also beacuse I am a little ashamed I drew so goddamn ugly when I rushed in to save her honor ;)
here's my sketch for the portrait:

Valentino Pre-Fall 2010
Valentino Pre-Fall 2010 was so great, I really had a hard time to pick an outfit for my picture. I love how those rather simple, classic and really elegant desings work with the unusual materials like leather and sequin.
The sequin pants where fun to do, actually, even though they took forever!

Givenchy Pre-Fall 2010
the geometric black and white sixties inspired shapes at Givenchy pre-fall 2010 were amazing so I tried to reflct that with this graphic background.

Balenciaga Pre-Fall 2010
Balenciaga pre-fall 2010 was amazing! I loved the roundish square shaped clothes and the colored tights and the shoes look really cool (to bad you cant really see them the way they photographed the models)!
It all reminded me a bit of certain science fiction comic and manga designs, where I always looked at the clothing and thought, hey, that looks really cool, but there is no way any fabric will actually behave like this in reality - apparently I was wrong.
the outfit I picked - the model totally hated it, judging from her expression:

Lanvin Pre-Fall 2010
I love leopard print and Lanvin Pre-Fall 2010 had lots and lots of it! But this suit was my absolute favorite!
And yes, the leopard print in this picture is completely hand drawn by me.
(eidt: I added the path view to the sketch.)

Louis Vuitton pre-fall 2010
Louis Vuitton Pre-fall 2010 had a major 60s vibe - something that gets me every time! No wonder I have been so fast with my interpretation.
I made some screenshots of my process I thought you might be interested in - but first the sketch:

Rachel Roy Pre-fall 2010
This jacket from Rachel Roy Prefall looked so cool! Christian suggested I leave the original photo in because the figure interacts with it so well (and funny) and I thought he was right.

Jane Aldridge
Another blogger who's blog I check regularly is Jane Alridge of Sea of Shoes. her style is so youthful and mature at the same time, it always blows me away! I love her photos not only because she is such a beautiful girl and has a great taste in clothing and shoes but also because of the whole atmosphere of her house.
For my image I chose to show her in her outfit for the Crillon Ball, she looked simply stunning!

Oh, man, every time, while I am drawing something for the blog, I imagine what I am going to write about it, and come up with some really nice fitting words - however when I have finished the picture I am completely exhausted and my mind is a blank. You must all be already very bored with my "Oh, wow, I loved blablabla", "thisnthat is so amazing/ beautiful/ breathtaking" sentences.
But then I think, I am an illustrator not a writer fer chrissakes! If my pictures cannot express how I feel there's really no use in looking for words. So please excuse my platitudes! I think - or at least hope - I am much better at expressing my thoughts with my pictures than with words.
Here is the sketch I made for the picture:

Alexander McQueen Spring 2010 rtw
Wow, this McQueen show was absolutely breathtaking! The whole concept with the cameras! I loved the clothes, at first glance it looks all super-crazy but then you'll see a lot of it is quite wearable. Allthough personally I would love to see more people rocking these amazing shoes - Lady Gaga and Daphne Guinness already looked fantastic in them! I had a hard time picking an outfit because they are all just so amazing! Finally I picked these two:
